A Windy Afternoon

Two beards laughing
Slashed by teeth;
Four legs walking
Underneath;
A great gale blowing;
Trees awhirl;
Skirts fly, showing
Essential girl;

Leaves and laughter
And legs hurl past
And I stride faster
Against the blast.
Where am I going?
What shall I care,
Buoyed by the blowing,
Living air?
