The Trapper

‘Why are you out so early
And where are you coming from?’
‘I am walking to meet the sunrise
And the sun will see me home.’

‘They say you’re the great night-walker
And many keep watch for you.
Do you visit them all by starlight?’
‘Well, I have quite a lot to do.’

‘Are you lover to all those women?
Do they all love you perhaps?’
‘Going round my traps,’ said the hunter,
‘Just going round my traps!’
