She’s offended by life.
Boys loose on bicycles
girls airy on skates.
Children stare.
Neighbours turn away.
Odd men look boldly.
Thunder and lightning erupt
specifically to scare.
The weather and the world
close in.
They are lethal.
They press her shoulder.
She threatens back:
‘I’ll scream if that happens.’
She stamps her feet.
‘It’s all right for the men!’
She’s dying from anger
since she landed on this planet.
She caught the intergalactic bus
unaware, to the wrong stop.
